This Storage & Handling Policy provides general guidance for the proper storage and laboratory handling of products purchased from Reset Labs LLC (“Reset Labs,” “we,” “us”). It is published to help researchers preserve product integrity and to support safe laboratory practice.

Table of Contents

Research Use Only

All Reset Labs products are supplied strictly for in vitro laboratory research purposes only. They are not for human or animal consumption and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Nothing in this policy is, or should be construed as, guidance for human or animal administration, dosing, or therapeutic use. All handling described below refers exclusively to in vitro laboratory research.

1. How Products Ship

Unless otherwise stated, all Reset Labs peptide products ship in lyophilized (freeze-dried) form, which is the most stable form for transit and long-term storage. Each vial is labeled with a lot/batch number that corresponds to its Certificate of Analysis (COA).

Brief exposure to ambient temperatures during shipping does not compromise lyophilized peptides. Upon receipt, transfer products to proper storage promptly (see below).

2. Storage Requirements

2.1 Lyophilized peptides — unopened vials

Condition Requirement
Temperature
−20°C (standard); −80°C preferred for long-term storage
Light
Avoid direct light; store in dark or amber vials
Humidity
Low humidity; desiccant packs recommended
Container
Keep in the original sealed vial until use
Shelf life
Up to 24 months from manufacture when stored properly

2.2 NAD+ products (e.g., NJ500, NJ 1000) — special handling

Condition Requirement
Temperature
−20°C; avoid freeze-thaw cycles
Light
Protect from light; use amber containers
Air
Minimize air exposure; NAD+ is sensitive to oxidation

2.3 GHK-Cu — special handling

Condition Requirement
Temperature
−20°C in powder/lyophilized form
Lab ware
Avoid stainless steel or copper-reactive ware; use polypropylene or glass
Light
Protect from UV light

2.4 After reconstitution — all products

Condition Requirement
Temperature
2–8°C (refrigerated, not frozen)
Duration
Use within 28–30 days of reconstitution
Container
Keep sealed; avoid repeated opening
Freeze-thaw
Do not freeze reconstituted solution; freezing degrades peptide integrity
Sterility
Maintain strict aseptic technique

3. General Handling Best Practices (In Vitro Research)

  • Handle all compounds in accordance with your institution’s biosafety guidelines.
  • Use appropriate PPE: nitrile gloves, lab coat, and eye protection.
  • Work at a clean bench or in a biosafety cabinet when handling reconstituted material.
  • Do not pipette by mouth.
  • Allow sealed vials to reach room temperature (10–15 minutes) before opening; never use heat to speed dissolution.
  • Swirl gently to dissolve — never shake or vortex.
  • Use sterile technique and one needle per vial to avoid contamination.
  • For extended studies, aliquot into single-use sterile polypropylene tubes to avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, and label each aliquot with compound name, lot number, date, and concentration.
  • Follow standard laboratory waste-disposal protocols for any unused solution.

4. Avoiding Degradation — Quick Reference

Risk factor Prevention
Heat exposure
Never use heat to speed dissolution
Agitation
Swirl gently; never shake or vortex
Freeze-thaw cycling
Aliquot before freezing
Contamination
Sterile technique; one needle per vial
Humidity (NAD+)
Work quickly; reseal immediately
Humidity (NAD+)
Use amber vials or wrap in foil

5. Lot Numbers & Certificates of Analysis (COA)

Every Reset Labs vial carries a lot/batch number tied to a specific COA confirming compound identity, purity, quantity, testing date, and testing laboratory. Record the lot number in your experimental notes for traceability. To request a COA, email info@resetclinicals.com with your order number and the lot number printed on the vial.

6. Product Integrity on Arrival

If a product arrives with damaged packaging, a compromised vial, or any visible abnormality, do not use it and contact us within 7 days per our Refund, Return & Chargeback Policy. Reset Labs is not responsible for product degradation caused by improper storage or handling after delivery.

7. Disclaimer

This policy is provided for general laboratory reference only and does not constitute a warranty of fitness for any particular purpose. Storage conditions and handling requirements may vary by compound and by experimental setup; researchers are responsible for determining appropriate conditions for their specific application and for compliance with all applicable laws and institutional safety requirements.
